Bubbleset
Bubbleset is a 28-letter bubble alphabet with a lot of personality. It is an alphabet based on the bubble style (soft and round letters). It is my first hand-lettered whole alphabet.
The letters are sketched by hand, vectorised, cut out of plywood with a laser cutter, sanded, and hand-painted. See at the end of the page a short making of video. The Bubbleset alphabet was on display in Pasila Urban Art Center, Helsinki, Finland from the 9th of November to the 21st of December 2022 and in Mikkeli 13th Illustration Triennale in the Summer of 2023.
The Bubbleset alphabet was realised with the help of Kuvittajat The Finnish Illustration Association project grant.
