Hello! I am Superflinda.
I am a Finnish visual artist and illustrator who loves bold colors, funky typography and basically everything retro. My art focuses on graphic & letter forms and contrasting colours. I make nostalgic illustrations and unique hand-lettering pieces bringing words to life and a smile to your face.
Over the years, I've had the opportunity to collaborate with many other talented artists as well as esteemed partners such as Helsinki Urban Art, Ljubjana Street Art Festival, Madrid Street Art Project and more. I'm always excited about new collaboration opportunities and hosting workshops, so please don't hesitate to contact me!

A little more about me:
Born and raised in Finland, I discovered my passion for drawing, art and colors at a young age, finding inspiration in the works of Finnish masters of classical painting, such as Helene Schjerfbeck, Pekka Halonen and Hugo Simberg, who were introduced to me by my teacher. With this teacher I also traveled to Copenhagen at the age of six after winning a drawing competition and remember seeing graffiti there for the first time in my life. After that I was always drawn to lettering and street art.
Later I pursued a Master of Arts in Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture, honing my skills in New Media, Graphic Design and Typography. I am also a qualified Art Director from Berghs School of Communication in Stockholm, Sweden.
I am fluent in several languages: Finnish, Swedish, English, Slovene and I also know Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, German and some Italian. So I can tackle projects in many different cultures. Who knows, maybe it was my passion for languages which also brought me to letters.
In addition to my individual practice, I have participated in numerous group exhibitions and collaborations, festivals, projects and artist residencies. My work is, and has been, exhibited throughout Europe and as far afield as Brazil, China and West Africa. Read more about my achievements in the following section.
