Pockets (Bolsillos)
My artwork at the C.A.L.L.E. 2023 street art festival for the amazingly cute, friendly and cozy tapas bar Tasca Barea in the area of Lavapiés in Madrid, Spain. I had so much fun painting this one! Not to even mention the absolutely delicious snacks and refreshing local beer the best people of Tasca Barea were serving me all the time.
My intervention on the bar facade took inspiration from the hexagon logo of the @tascabarea bar. I wanted to create a cooling & refreshing visual refugee for the locals in the hot concrete jungle of Lavapiés. I hand sketched & painted the whole facade during one week in April 2023.

The work was a part of the C.A.L.L.E. en Lavapiés street art festival 2023 organised by Madrid Street Art Project where over 50 local and international artists paint new works every year for local businesses in the lively neighbourhood of Lavapiés.
