Bubbleset

Bubbleset is a 28-letter bubble alphabet with a lot of personality. It is an alphabet based on the bubble style (soft and round letters). It is my first hand-lettered whole alphabet.

The letters are sketched by hand, vectorised, cut out of plywood with a laser cutter, sanded, and hand-painted. See at the end of the page a short making of video. The Bubbleset alphabet was on debuted in Pasila Urban Art Center in Helsinki in 2022. Later it has been on display in various forms in several exhibitions: in Mikkeli 13th Illustration Triennale in the Summer of 2023, in Kalasataman Vapaakaupungin olohuone in the end of 2023 and in art Hotel AX in 2026.
